Mitsubishi Lancer 2007

The Mitsubishi Lancer is a compact car built by Mitsubishi Motors. It has been known as the Colts Lancer, Dodge/Plymouth Colt, Chrysler Valiant Lancer, Chrysler Lancer, Eagle Summit, Hindustan Lancer, Soueast Lioncel, Mitsubishi Carisma, and Mitsubishi Mirage in various countries at different times, and will be sold as the Galant Fortis in its home market from 2007. It has also been sold as Lancer Fortis in Taiwan with a different facelift compared to Galant Fortis from September 15, 2007.

In 2005, Mitsubishi revealed the Concept-X model car at the Tokyo Motor Show and its Concept-Sportback model at the Frankfurt motor show. The new Lancer is based on these two concepts. The new Lancer was officially revealed in January 2007 at the Detroit Motor Show and went on sale in North American markets on March 2007. New Lancer features Mitsubishi's next-generation RISE safety body.

In Japan, the Lancer Cedia was offered with many different trim levels and engines, including options which were never seen in export markets. It was also one of the first models to use the INVECS-III CVT transmission. There was also a Ralliart version of the sportswagon which was powered by a turbocharged 1.8L GDI engine. As of 2007, the eighth generation Lancer sedan is still being sold alongside the new ninth generation, which is known in the home market as the Galant Fortis.

Mitsubishi Galant 2007

The United States has had the sedan-only ninth-generation PS platform model since October 15, 2003. It was announced at the 2003 New York International Auto Show in April for the 2004 model year, following the exhibition of the SSS concept sedan at the North American International Auto Show three years before. The ninth-generation United States-sourced model is available for sale only in a few regional markets, namely North America, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Russia, and Arabia. Russia began sourcing its Galants from the United States from 2006. The Arabian Markets began sourcing its Galants from the United States from the 2007 model year.

A size increase resulted in slightly more interior space and a weight gain of several hundred pounds. The 4-cylinder engine, while still 2.4 liters in displacement, upgraded from Mitsubishi's 4G64 design to the newer 4G69 design, resulting in a horsepower increase from 140 to 160. Likewise, the V6 jumped from a 3.0-liter with 190 HP to a 3.8 with 235. All North American Galants gained 4-wheel disc brakes but lost their rear stabilizer bar.

A Ralliart version joined for 2007, finally upgrading the V6 to a class-competitive 258 horsepower while also adding a firmer suspension, front strut tower bar, rear stabilizer bar, and 18-inch alloy wheels. For 2008, the trimming of models left the Ralliart as the only V6 model, and the Galant skips the 2008 model year in Canada, only to return in 2009 with the facelifted model.

Mitsubishi Strada 2007

The all-new L200 Strada embodies Mitsubishi’s new and exciting styling. In addition to its ground-hugging posture, improvements have been made on all fronts including the engine, body and frame construction, suspension and brakes, combined, of course, with Mitsubishi’s rally-winning 4WD technology. Mitsubishi’s common rail fuel system has been added, delivering more power and better fuel economy. The result is a pick-up with a car level of riding comfort and driving comfort and off-road performance few can match.

The new Strada has best-in-class interior space. It’s suspension system and interior appointments realize sedan levels of ride and comfort. The all-new Strada is powered by a new 2.5-liter intercooled turbocharged direct-injection common rail diesel engine which attains a maximum output of 140 ps at 4,000 rpm. It is equipped with Mitsubishi’s Easy Select 4-Wheel Drive system. Other standard features include: 17-inch alloy wheels and tires, ABS with EBD, dual airbags, automatic climate control, a multi-display station, front fog lamps, side step boards and headlamp washers.

These new features serve both to highlight the originality and advanced qualities of the all-new Strada. The Strada has the features that make it a choice when it comes to a purposeful everyday use vehicle for individuals and families. As such, Mitsubishi expects to expand the Strada’s market base.

Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE)

The comprehensive safety system of the Strada 4x4 offers all the occupants greatly improved all-around collision protection. Mitsubishi’s exclusive RISE body construction incorporates front and rear crumple zones with reinforced beams to absorb collision force and direct it away from the vehicle’s interior. The engine and drive components also absorb energy, preventing further damage from reaching the cabin.

Mitsubishi Eclipse 2007

The Eclipse GT's 3.8-liter MIVEC engine is a mechanical masterpiece. At low revolutions the motor's 260 lb-ft of torque give the Eclipse stoplight authority, while at higher revs variable valve timing provides pure top-end power. A six-speed manual or a five-speed Sportronic® automatic transmission puts power to pavement. To keep it there, increased chassis and body rigidity lend composure at any speed. The performance-tuned suspension with McPherson struts in the front and a low-mounted multilink rear give the new Eclipse the sharp, precise handling to master any road.

Inside, the Eclipse is equally responsive. The interior envelops the driver. The seats cradle. A motorcycle-inspired gauge cluster informs. And the optional Rockford Fosgate® audio system bumps, with 650 watts (max.), a 6-CD/MP3-compatible in-dash changer and nine speakers, including a 10-inch subwoofer. The GT's available premium-sport package includes the Rockford Fosgate® audio system and also gives more discerning Eclipse buyers additional performance and style, with 18-inch seven-spoke alloy rims, leather seats, a power sunroof, alloy pedals and more.
